Natural Deodorant is a gel product with a short formula: organic aloe vera juice, potassium alum, triethyl citrate, panthenol, xanthan gum and bergamot-patchouli essential oil. Potassium alum and triethyl citrate are the two well-known deodorising ingredients. The product targets the formation of body odour and does not block sweating.

A light, cooling gel that the roll-on applicator spreads evenly and that dries on the skin in a few seconds. Its scent is fresh, citrusy and deep, woody-earthy: natural bergamot and patchouli essential oil, the same as in Hyaluron Body Lotion.

How to use

Apply daily with the roll-on applicator to clean, completely dry underarm skin.
Let it dry on the skin for a few moments before dressing.

Do not use on open wounds, freshly waxed, severely irritated or damaged skin.

Place in the routine: used together with Hyaluron Body Lotion, it gives the same bergamot-patchouli scent.

Potassium Alum

A crystalline mineral salt traditionally used in deodorants. It has astringent properties and is used to prevent odour formation on the skin's surface.

Triethyl Citrate

An ester of citric acid also used in deodorising cosmetics. Its known function is to inhibit the enzymes involved in the formation of body odour.

Organic aloe vera juice (Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice)

Provides the gel's water phase, instead of plain water.

Panthenol

The provitamin of B5; a skin-conditioning ingredient that supports the comfort of sensitive underarm skin.

Xanthan Gum

A thickener of natural origin produced by sugar fermentation. It gives the deodorant its gel texture, which the roll-on applicator spreads evenly.

Bergamot and patchouli essential oil

Natural essential oils that give the product its scent. Limonene, linalool and citral are natural components of these oils, fragrance allergens that must be declared under EU regulation.

What is potassium alum?

In LYSANDE® Natural Deodorant, the deodorising effect comes from a crystalline salt of natural origin, potassium alum (Potassium Alum on the INCI list). It's a mineral known for thousands of years that inhibits the growth of odour-causing bacteria without blocking sweating itself. Although the crystal naturally contains aluminium, due to its molecular size it is not absorbed in the same way and is not the same as the synthetic aluminium salts of conventional antiperspirants.
