Honestly about the price: it isn't the cheapest hydrating gel. It's handmade in small batches, you get three hyaluronic sizes and a cosmetic peptide in one product, and used twice a day it lasts about two months: roughly £0.55 per day.

What you get

  • A light, water-based gel, according to the INCI list without plant oils or butters
  • Three hyaluronic sizes in one product (HMW, LMW, OLIGO), plus urea, Sodium PCA, niacinamide, panthenol and a cosmetic peptide
  • Handmade in small batches, in an airless pump: 1–2 pumps are enough for face, neck and décolleté

How it feels: light hydration

One or two pumps into your palm, then smooth over your face, neck and décolleté. A light, water-based gel that you can also apply to slightly damp skin. Made without oils or butters, it leaves a light, non-greasy feel. No added fragrance or essential oils, just the raw materials' own natural scent. The gel texture comes from the hyaluronic acid itself; there is no separate gelling agent.

It's for you if

  • you're looking for a light, water-based moisturiser without oils or butters,
  • you want hydration as a separate step in your routine,
  • you're curious about the difference between hyaluronic acid's molecular sizes.

How to use

  1. Cleanse your face.
  2. Use Hyaluron Tonic. No need to wait until it's completely dry: the gel can be applied to slightly damp skin.
  3. Apply 1–2 pumps of gel to your face, neck and décolleté and gently smooth it in.
  4. Continue with the Hyaluron Face Cream for your skin type.

Fits into both your morning and evening routine.

Place in the routine: 1. Tonic → 2. Hyaluron Gel → 3. Hyaluron Face Cream

Get to know the ingredients +

Sodium hyaluronate – HMW, LMW and OLIGO

The salt form of hyaluronic acid, with outstanding water-binding capacity. Present as HMW (high), LMW (low) and OLIGO (oligomer, very small). Larger molecules bind water mainly on the skin's surface; smaller ones can also interact with the outer layers of the stratum corneum.

Urea and Sodium PCA

Components of the skin's own Natural Moisturizing Factor (NMF); water-binding ingredients.

Niacinamide and panthenol

The active form of vitamin B3 and the provitamin of B5; skin-conditioning ingredients that support skin comfort.

Phospholipids, sphingolipids, squalene and beta-sitosterol

Ingredients similar in structure to the skin's own lipids; they provide the lipid-like part, since the gel contains no plant oils or butters.

Palmitoyl tripeptide-5

A cosmetic peptide modified with a fatty-acid chain; a skin-conditioning ingredient.

Tocopherol (vitamin E)

An antioxidant that protects the formula's lipids from oxidation.

Organic aloe vera juice

Part of the gel's water phase.

Frequently asked questions

Why use the gel before the face cream?

+

The gel provides the water-based, water-binding part of the routine, and the lipids of the face cream applied afterwards help keep this hydrating layer in place.

Why is sodium hyaluronate listed only once in the INCI if it contains three sizes?

+

The INCI list shows sodium hyaluronate as a single entry, Sodium Hyaluronate, regardless of molecular size, which cannot be indicated. The product description tells you that the gel contains HMW, LMW and OLIGO versions.
